Unlocks

All Modules in Wanderburg & How to Unlock Them

Wanderburg starts you with four modules — Cannon (Side), Ram (Front), Top Mortar (Top) and Mine Layer (Back). Every other module is bought with Silver, unlocked by levelling a related module, or earned through a cumulative objective such as consuming 300 Cows.

Rows marked Buy with Silver are purchases on the unlock screen. Rows marked Level ... and the cumulative objectives are permanent goals you complete during normal runs rather than with Silver.

What to unlock first

Cover your weakest firing arc with a second damage module before buying anything exotic, then add a Captain. Unlocking everything is not automatically good: every module you unlock is added to the in-run upgrade pool, which can dilute strong rolls. See Module Costs for the price list and Module Rerolls for why collection size still matters.

FAQ

FAQ

Common questions about this topic.

How many modules are in Wanderburg?

Four modules are available from the start and roughly fifteen more are unlocked with Silver, by levelling a related module, or through cumulative objectives. The exact total changes with Early Access patches.

Which modules do you start with in Wanderburg?

Cannon (Side), Ram (Front), Top Mortar (Top) and Mine Layer (Back).

How do I unlock more modules?

Either buy them with Silver on the unlock screen, level a related module (for example Ram to level 10 unlocks Side Arms), or finish a cumulative objective such as consuming 300 Cows.

Is unlocking every module a good idea?

Not always. Unlocked modules join the in-run upgrade pool, so unlocking everything can dilute your strongest upgrade rolls.
